Position Responsibilities As the Head of Human Resources you will be managing both new and existing initiatives for the human resources department.

In addition, creating feedback and support loops for the executive, management, and production teams will be critical.

The main responsibilities for this position are: Spearhead all HR department duties including administration of payroll and benefits, hiring and onboarding employment requirements, department recording and reporting management, as well as the companys outreach and employment branding efforts.

Handle all HR administrative duties related to hiring and onboarding including completing and archiving all required, state, federal and local employment requirements by employee (I-9, W-4, State Withholding, Benefits elections, new hire checklist completion, direct deposit forms, receipt of employee handbook).

Hire talent, lead onboarding of new team members, and provide meaningful feedback to support team success and growth.

Serve as an active participant in the development of the organization in regard to career paths, organizational charts, reporting and meeting enhancements, and ensuring employee feedback is received and acted upon to improve employee engagement and satisfaction.

Establish and maintain department records and reports.

Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings, such as seminars.

Maintains organizational charts and employee directory.

Collaborate with Executive Team, Director of Operations, Portfolio Managers, and many others on best practices and enhancements of the companys change management, organizational development, talent acquisition, and best practices with a primary goal of employee satisfaction and career development.

Requirements Must possess superior interpersonal, verbal, organizational skills.

Strong payroll and benefits administration experience.

Proven track record of developing or running a successful talent acquisition strategy and successfully hiring and onboarding new team members.

Passion and expertise for community outreach and employment branding efforts via events, employer branding, meetings, and seminars.

Enjoys working with the public.

Someone who takes the initiative and does not need a lot of direction and can be resourceful.

Knowledge of HRIS and payroll/administration related systems.

Four or more years of Human Resource experience.

Bachelors Degree SHRM certification preferred, not required.
