A 150-bed Hospital in Los Angeles is searching for a Director of Human Resources to join their team and lead the hospital’s HR efforts for the current employees and 1.3 million residents in the surrounding area. 

This newly renovated facility is known for its academic partnership with one of the best schools in California. Its emergency department can see up to 100,000 patients each year, making this a fast paced environment that prides itself on the highest quality of care. The academic partnership between this hospital and competitive university, has provided this facility with futuristic technology and high-touch healthcare experiences that exceed the other hospitals in southern California.  This hospital has been recognized nationwide for its high level of electronic medical record-keeping and its tech savvy integration. This facility is fully accredited and is recognized by the Joint Commission. 

This academic affiliated hospital would like a Director of HR who can oversee a large budget and assist with a transition to Magnet status. The Human Resources Director will be responsible for: 

  • All aspects of HR as it relates to assisting employees and leaders with Employee Relations, Retention and Recognition.
  • Survey readiness, supervising HR operations, file compliance, and LOA.
  • Helping in strategic initiatives while maintaining the daily operations of the Human Resources Department. 
  • Recruitment efforts and strategies.
  • Employee recognition programs.
  • Working directly with department managers to better understand needs and candidates requirements.
  • Talent Acquisitions and Organization Development.
