Coordinator – Benefits – SOH Human Resources

Responsibilities

The Benefits Coordinator will track and maintain all leave of absences. This includes getting appropriate medical certifications, sending appropriate correspondence, and communicating with employees within the framework of FMLA, CFRA, and all other applicable regulations. Responsible for 401k plan administration. Tracking benefits deductions in HRIS and making appropriate adjustments. Reconciliation and payment processing for monthly benefit invoices. Sends appropriate communication with regards to benefit updates and changes. Answers all benefit related questions.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree required or at least 3 years experience in benefit administration required.
  2. Previous experience coordinating employee benefits, e.g. health, dental, vision coverage, etc. preferred.
  3. Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Microsoft Office Skills required
