Local nonprofit is seeking an experience human resource professional with ADP WORKFORCE NOW; MS Office & Google SuiteLooking for :BA/BS or an equivalent combination of education and experience.” A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible HR experience.” Experience in a nonprofit environment is highly preferred.” Knowledge of HR techniques, applications, and programs.” PROFICIENCY IN ADP WORKFORCE HRIS/PAYROLL NOW IS REQUIRED” Must have good written and verbal skills.” Current certification asa Professional in Human Resources (PHR or SPHR) or Society for Human Resource Management Certification (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) highly preferred” Must possess a “Consultative” mindset”Tactful and professional demeanor with well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with diverse personalities at all levels of the organization” Ability to negotiate skillfully with internal and external groups to settle differences or promote one’s own ideasServe as the primary system administrator and an interface to the Programs team, ensuring the effective operation and utilization of the ADP WORKFORCE NOW system through the coordination and assessment of the periodic updates to the benefits, payroll and time & labor modules, as well as assisting with required application upgrade testing, helping to resolve any reported issues.Duties:” Ensures that employee data is entered correctly and accurately in ADP WORKFORCE NOW” Assists the Accounting department with processing payroll in accordance with payroll calendar for all assigned companies.” Enters, maintains, and/or processes information in the system; information may includeemployees’ hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, address changes, and other information.” Ensures proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, and other deductions.” Generates requested payroll accounting and audit reports.” Assists in issuing or reissuing replacement checks or direct deposits due to payroll errors or final discharge.” Works with employee’s toresolve payroll-related tax matters.” Performs other duties asassigned.” Processes benefits enrollments quickly and accurately via the HR/payroll and/or carrier systems.” Reviews monthly payroll deductions.” Resolves employee issueswith benefits administrators and insurance providers.” Assists employees with enrolling in various health & welfare insurance planssuch as new hires, when a qualifying life event occurs, or via annual open enrollment.” Schedules benefits orientation programs for new hires (and for annual open enrollment), and ensures that employees have access to enrollment materials, portals, explanation of benefits documents, etc.” Ensures that timely and accurate information is published on the company’s intranet regarding the health and welfare benefits program and other HR programs and events.” Assists employees with eligibility questions and other pertinent issues.” Assists with performancemanagement and employee discipline processes, including terminations.” Assists with recruitment, interview and onboarding processes.Great benefits.
