As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for providing oversight and support to the company’s Business Units, located in Orange County and Los Angeles CountyGeneral responsibilities of this role include:Work with Hiring Managers and Recruiters to recruit, assess and select the most qualified candidates while increasing diversity.
Facilitate hiring decisions.Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements.Execute strategy for Corporate HR initiatives and tailor delivery to division office(s), managing efficient rollout.Provide day-to-day tactical HR support to management in the area of employment law and labor relations.Provide guidance and support to employees in all areas of human resource administration including benefits, recruiting, and payroll ensuring administrative tasks are completed within deadlines.Participate in grievance meetings where applicable.Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department, division/region and services performed.Identify and constructively challenge policies and practices that produce legal, regulatory and/or ethical risks to the business or employees.
Facilitate the discussion, planning and implementation of actions to mitigate potential risks.Maintain and expand knowledge and understanding of existing and proposed federal and state laws/regulations affecting human resources management; identify trends and newdevelopments that could impact organizational objectives and/or operational resourcesPlan, execute, direct and complete projects as required.Experience/Requirements:BA/BS degree in Business or related field.Supported a division or organization of 300 employees.Demonstrated expertise in all HR functional areas with a strong emphasis in employee relations.Proven knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements in functional area(s).Demonstrated experience in the areas of: employment law, labor relations, staffing, assessment and selection, training and development, continuous process improvement; implementing policies and procedures.Union experience a plus.Experience managing employee relation issues through investigation to resolution.Possess attention to detail, logic, and a methodological approach to problem solving.Understands the underlying issues and components of a problem or opportunity and perceives complex cause-and-effect patterns.Identifies patterns and trends from past experiences that relate to a current situation and uses that knowledge to come up with creative solutions and new ideas.Superior communication skills, written and verbal, able to effectively address all levels within the organization.Ability to operate independently.Proficiency in MS Excel.Ace Parking is an Affirmative Action Federal Contractor and Equal Opportunity Employer that encourages applicants who are Protected Veterans of The U.S.
