See below for more details on the position and contact us directly for more information.EXPERIENCE/ABILITIESExperience working on standby generators or related equipment up to 2 MwAble to conduct a load bank test and perform full PMsAble to work OT and on weekends when necessaryNatural gas and/or diesel engine knowledgeMust have own tools, or ability to obtain tools if offered the positionStrong written and verbal English skillsExcellent customer service skillsSelf-starter and ability to work independently in the fieldAble to mentor and assist less experienced technicians with difficult tasksSuccessfully able to obtain certificationsATS and switchgear experiencePLC engine and generator controllers experienceSwitchgear and paralleling abilitiesRESPONSIBILITIESService, repair, modify and diagnosis standby power generatorsPerform failure analysis, emergency field service and/or repairs for customersConduct start-ups, PM service and load bank testsMaintain and repair ATSs (both regular and bypass units)Work on a variety of commercial/industrial customer sites (hospitals, nursing homes, office buildings, fire stations, correctional facilities, events, etc).Service a variety of brands of power generation equipment (Kohler, Cummins, MTU, Generac, CAT, etc.)Operate, drive and maintain company service truck and parts inventory on truckCheck/repair all supporting systems such as fuel, cooling and electrical systemsOperation of load banks and recording of instrumentationClean, check, recondition and determine the reusability of used partsCOMPENSATIONCompetitive hourly rate (depends on experience)Company vehicle providedFull benefits will be providedTraining and growth opportunitiesAPPLICATION PROCESSWe are currently interviewing candidates for this position.
