Responsibilities:
As an Implementation Consultant you will be part of a team responsible for:

  • Project Management
  • Configuration at new and existing customer sites
  • Customer support at all levels
  • Training and go-live support
  • Data analysis
  • Feature testing
  • Product documentation

Detailed Overview:

  • Project Management for enterprise software implementation: map out project calendar and deadlines for IT infrastructure delivery, software deployments, configuration, testing, training, go-live migration, and support.
  • Gather client business requirements, integration needs, provide IT architecture/hardware minimum requirements and verify they are met. Coach customers through all documentation and set up with assistance from team members.
  • Integrations setup, mapping, testing, reviewing logs for sent/receive messages, etc. Install, test, and troubleshoot mobile application (Windows & Android)
  • Maintain customer environment documentation, log deployment history, user access, etc.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot reporting services in a data warehouse (SQL DB’s).
  • Escalate to DBA if needed, clearly communicating data needs/gaps.
  • Schedule upgrades demo new features, and how to configure. Manage communications from customer to development/deployment team throughout upgrade to ensure minimal downtown and successful outcome, testing all integrations and monitoring event viewer and tools for warnings, errors, etc.
  • Manage client feature requests via CR’s. Discover the purpose of the request and consult on existing features, or document specific new feature details for the development team.
  • Dev team collaboration, deploy to test, test features, document, and schedule deployment to production.
  • Provide on-the-job training for teammates on our processes and procedures for implementation of various products, coaching best practices, deadlines, and workflow.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years of experience implementing EMS/EMR Systems, (911/emergency communications, fire, law enforcement, EMS)
  • 1+ Year of Computer-Aided Dispatch, (CAD Systems) strong TECHNICAL knowledge, exposure, and understanding.
  • Important to have strong verbal/written skills as heavy product documentation for end-users
  • Heavy scoping (listening to the client, helping to configure software solutions)
  • Training (presenting to 10-12 people), any sales/implementation pre & post is beneficial
  • Go-live support (need “thick skin” as EMS/Fire environment is very stressful and time-sensitive)
  • Provides ongoing support after completing each implementation project for the client
