Position Summary:Responsible for providing patient care and/or directing patient care by utilizing initiative and independent judgment.

He/she adheres to the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate the nursing care rendered according to hospital policies and ASPAN guidelines.Reports To: Charge/Resource NurseSupervises: NoneQualifications Position Requirements:Licensure/ Certification/Registration:Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of California.CPR certified in Basic Life Support.

ACLS required.

PALS required.Education:Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

Successfully pass a basic EKG test at the time of hireSuccessfully pass Pharmacology test at the time of hireExperience:Previous experience in Post Anesthesia Care Nursing is preferred.Special Qualifications:Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Hear/speak adequately to communicate with and be understood by staff, patients, physicians and public.
