He/she ensures that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with the unit’s standards or care.
He/she demonstrates performance consistent with the mission, philosophy, and goals of the unit and organization; remains flexible and adaptable to changing systems and assignments; is expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice; and treats staff, physicians, patients, and families with consideration and respect.Reports To: Director, Nursing ServicesSupervises: NoneQualifications Position Requirements:Education/Certificates/Licenses: Graduate of accredited School of Nursing.
Current licensures as a Registered Nurse in the state of California.
BCLS, ACLS, and PALS required.
ABLS (Advanced Burn Life Support) required within one year of date of hire/transfer.
Current knowledge and skills appropriate to the age/type of patient population served.
Successfully pass Pharmacology and Basic EKG rhythm tests at time of hire.
Must meet clinical standards specific to multiple patient care areas.
Los Angeles Hospital Fire and Life safety certification required within sixty (60) days of hire.
