Position Summary: The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) serves as a key member of the unit-based leadership team.
The CNC is responsible for managing patient-centered care coordination within the unit/department during the designated shift.
In collaboration with other members of the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serves as a resource person for staff, and models a commitment to West Hills Hospital’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance, Reports To: Director of TelemetryQualifications Position Requirements:Licensure/ Certification/Registration:Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of California required.BCLS certification required.ACLS certification required.Dysrhythmia certification within 2 years of hire required Nursing certificate within 2 years of hire required.Hospital Fire & Safety certification required within 60 days of hire.Education:Baccalaureate in Nursing (within 2 years of hire) required.Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.Successfully pass Pharmacology test.
Experience: 2+ years applicable clinical nursing experience preferred.2+ years in a lead role with demonstrated leadership and management proficiency preferred.
