If you’re searching for something better, in between pharmacy jobs, or you just became a licensed Pharmacy Technician, we encourage you to apply today!Pharmacy Technician – Specialty Dermatology/ Retail PharmacyJob Specifics and Requirements:Location / Area:Must be able to work in the West Hollywood, CA areaLicensure Requirements:Must have valid, clear, and active California Pharmacy Technician licenseEducation:High School Diploma or equivalentRequirements:Pharmacy Technician Retail and Pyxis experience are highly preferred.Years of Experience:1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician Highly Preferred and strong administrative skills (Not Required)Schedule:Full-Time – Day shiftLength of Assignment:Temporary to PermanentPay:$16 $20 Depending on ExperienceSetting:Specialty Dermatology/ Retail PharmacyBackground/ Drug Requirements:YesAdditional Health Screenings:YesPharmacy Technician – Specialty Dermatology/ Retail PharmacyRx relief offers the followingBenefits:Health Insurance, with prescription coverageVision and Dental insurance401(k) and deferred compensation programsCafeteria plansAs a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining productivity and quality standards, as well as legal and company compliance, as to assist in all pharmacy clerical duties for the Specialty Dermatology/ Retail Pharmacy and follow established procedures.Job Responsibilities:Follow pharmacy policy and procedures to procure, store, prepare, dispense medication to the clinics under the supervision of a pharmacistEnsures compliance with established County and departmental purchasing policies and proceduresCreate purchase orders for items needed and sent them via email to respective suppliersFollow up and create requests to expedite ordersTrack pharmacy inventory, manage inventory par levels, and conduct regular inventory auditReview reports of pharmaceutical goods receivedInspect medications and medical supplies to verify conformance to purchase order specificationsReceiving items into the system and prepare a document with receiving number for Account PayableReceives reports of recalls and notify appropriate recipientsMaintain records for all pharmaceutical transactionsPerform/Maintain Pharmacy Medication Room(s) Temperature records and loggingMaintain pharmacy medication warehouse in an organized mannerLog medications into Pyxis and Logistic system.

Experience and understanding of Pyxis machine is preferredHospital work experience or internship/ externship is highly preferredOrder physician-controlled-substance prescription pads, send notifications, track delivery/receipt, and ‘Receive’ items into the system.Handle process exceptions as needed.Assist prescribers with TAR and prior authorizationAssist pharmacists with medication reconciliation and perform medication history information collectionIdentify appropriate prescription payer and troubleshoot billing issuesRx relief is a specialty staffing company providing supplemental pharmacy professionals for all pharmacy practice settings.
