We are looking to fill this position quickly!Pharmacy TechnicianBenefitsHealth Insurance, with prescription coverageVision and Dental insurance401(k) and deferred compensation programsCafeteria plansJob Specifics and Requirements:Must be able to work in theDowntown Los Angeles, CAareaMust have valid, clear, and activeCalifornia Pharmacy Technicianlicense (PTCB not required, but preferred)Bilingual in Spanish preferredHigh School Diploma or equivalent1-2 years of Outpatient/ Mental Health setting experience highly PreferredNewly graduated Pharmacy Technicians are welcome to applyBackground and Drug ScreeningPharmacy Technician Responsibilities:Preparation of medications for patientsReceiving and verifying the prescriptionsPricing and filling of prescriptionsObtaining pharmacist’s approvalCompleting patient paperwork related to the filling of a prescriptionAssisting with insurance claims processing (usually a pharmacist will handle this, but help could be needed)Stocking and pricing of medications in inventoryEnsuring availability of drugs by delivering them to patients or facilitiesMaintaining pharmacy’s (and its patients’ employees’) safety by adhering to infection-control procedures, policies, and regulationsWork Schedule:Full-Time-Varies – Day, Afternoon, and/or Evening shifts (M-F and some weekends)Temporary Assignment (ongoing); Temporary to HirePharmacy Technician Pay:$18.00 $22.00 per hour Depending on ExperienceAbout Rx reliefRx relief is a specialty staffing company providing supplemental pharmacy professionals for all pharmacy practice settings.
