We Are Hiring: Cardio/Neuro Full Time, Days Competitive Benefits Murfreesboro, TN We are a brand new 36-bed cardiac unit that cares for a diverse patient population including: Post-Cardiac Cath., Post-Pacemaker Placement, Acute TIA/Stroke, CHF, Acute MI.

RNs will have direct support from Physicians, Case Managers, Pharmacist, Respiratory/Physical/Occupational/Speech Therapists.

RNs will receive training and gain the knowledge and experience to care for Cardiac/Neuro patients who are receiving various life-sustaining therapies, including NIHSS Scoring, Rhythm Interpretation, Management of IV drips, and ACLS.

Our nurses work closely with the community regarding organ donation and long-term acute care facilities.

We are a 358-bed hospital located in Murfreesboro, TN.

Rutherford County is one of the fastest growing counties in Tennessee.

As such, our facility is keeping pace meeting the demands of our community.

So, we have been approved by the state to perform open heart surgeries at our new surgery center.

Our Cardiovascular Unit is now part of the new Caregiver Model
– you are eligible to receive a quarterly incentive based on unit performance on key metrics.

The incentive plan will have a quarterly measurement period, effective the following month in which a new quarter begins and will be paid according to the incentive policy.

Lets start the conversation today about what your next opportunity could look like What You Will Do: Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.

Implement and monitor patient care plans.

Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.

Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.

Assess and coordinate patient’s discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

What You Will Need: Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

One or more of the following required: Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition “Compact State” obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
