MORE ABOUT THE RN REGISTERED NURSE POSITION:

CareerStaff Unlimited partners with companies around the country to raise the bar in healthcare by setting new standards for quality care and personalized services. Responsibilities for this Registered Nurse opportunity include, but are not limited to:

  1. Provide direct patient care and function as a patient advocate

  2. Assess the comprehensive nursing needs of an assigned group of patients

  3. Coordinate the patient and family/significant other education process

  4. Continuously plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, incorporating patient and family/significant other into the process

  5. Participate with physician partners and other interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient and family/significant other plan of care

  6. Perform other duties as assigned


JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE RN REGISTERED NURSE POSITION:

  1. Minimum of 1-2 years clinical nursing experience in surgical services nursing

  2. BLS issued through American Heart Association

  3. ACLS issued through American Heart Association

  4. Must be eligible to work in the United States

  5. RN license in state of practice

  6. Must be available for On Call: Requirements – 1 week night per week and 2 weekend shift per 6 week schedule for a total of 8 call shifts. Since we have the Monday- Thursday covered by the night nurse, the OR RN only needs to cover Friday, Saturday, & Sunday call

  7. Cases – Mostly Ortho, GI, Endo, General
  8. Docs on Call at night – 3 OR Suites
  9. No planned surgeries, emergency only
