Your Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care, advising patients via telemedicine and perform occasional housecalls for lab draws and IV fluid administration.
- Performs nursing tasks for patient care, including but not limited to IV access, blood draws, Point of Care testing, medication administration.
- Performs patient education, including discharge planning and education, durable medical equipment sizing and education (e.g. crutches, incentive spirometer).
- Assist with inventory management under the direction of the Inventory Manager.
- Work closely with the Medical Director and team of doctors, PAs, Nurses, Technicians and care coordination staff to serve our patient base. Help ensure patients receive the follow up care they need after house calls or telehealth encounters.
- Make patients comfortable, patiently and professionally answering any questions they have.
- Perform patient intake including obtaining vital signs, medication list, allergies, and past medical history).
Experience
We believe extraordinary people come from a variety of backgrounds, but ideally we would expect that you have:
- Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing. Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing,
- Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in California required.
- Must have 2-3 years prior urgent care or hospital critical care or surgical experience
