About the role of Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
This is a full-time position (you choose between 30-40 hours per week)
This position is currently in a virtual setting with plans to convert to a hybrid setting (remote and in clinic) in 2023
You’ll provide initial evaluations and ongoing medication management for patients as part of the outpatient prescribing team, made up of psychiatrists and NPs/PAs as well as brief supportive therapy
You’ll practice medication management responsibilities to include 60-minute intakes and 30-minute follow ups (with a maximum of 5 intakes/day in a standard 8 hour day), as well as 45-minute transfer appointments.
Annual salary of $131,250 – $175,000 / year (based on selected clinical weekly hours of 30-40)
What we look for in our prescribers:
Master’s or doctoral degree from an accredited university or graduate program in psychiatric mental health nursing
Appropriate California state licensure: you must have an active CA Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license (we are unable to hire those with other state licenses)
Residence in California required
Active DEA license for Schedules 2-5
1+ years of independent experience in psychiatry, ideally in outpatient
You have not opted out from Medicare.
You have access to reliable and stable internet while working remotely.
Familiarity with the Google Suite platform is a plus.
