Cedars-Sinai serves the community through its Medical Network, including the highly rated Cedars-Sinai Medical Group and Cedars-Sinai Health Associates.The staff of the Cedars-Sinai Neurological Physical Therapy Clinic work closely with the medical center’s medical staff to provide excellent and innovative care to patients requiring care due to post-operative and chronic conditions.

This clinic is a fast-paced environment which requires the ability to work independently.As a full-time Physical Therapist in the Cedars-Sinai Multidisciplinary Neurological Clinic, you will primarily complete evaluations and provide appropriate treatment interventions per policies, complete required documentation accurately and thoroughly within expected timeframes, utilize validated and standardized outcome measures to establish goals and demonstrate progress and patient rehabilitation prognosis.

The physical therapist also monitors and modifies the progress of patients and demonstrates effective communication skills with patients, families, and care team members.

Educational Requirements:Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program Required Master’s Degree Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program PreferredDoctorate Degree Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program PreferredLicenses:California Physical; Therapy License Upon HireBasic Life Support Upon Hire by American Heart Association or American Red CrossExperience:A minimum of 3 years experience as a practicing therapist, with a minimum of 1-year experience in the current or similar practice setting.Experience and knowledge of assessment and intervention techniques in a medical and physical disabilities setting.Experience performing evaluations, designing and implementing treatment plans, and providing education in a manner appropriate to the patient’s age.Physical Demands:Able to push, pull, lift or carry 0-35 pounds on an intermittent basis; Able to sit, stand,walk, bend, squat consistently to administer manual exercises and techniques safely; Able to assist the patient with physical activities such as transfers, bed mobility, and ambulation.Able to identify the need for and arrange assistance to maintain safe techniques.
