Physician/Nurse Recruiter

The recruiter will source candidates utilizing a variety of medical venues to include: online, social media, career fairs and list services, residency/fellowship programs or agencies.

Coordinate all Astria Sunnyside Hospital scheduling, interviewing, travel arrangements and distribution of candidate information to the executive team.

Recruiter will also be responsible for creating effective recruitment plans, sourcing staff and presenting information to the executive team and hiring managers.Experience: Three years of recruiting experience required in a healthcare environment, sales and marketing experience a plus.

Previous physician recruiting background is strongly preferred.Education: Associates Degree in Human Resources, Business, or Healthcare Administration required.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in recruitment, sales or related field preferred.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Computer and database proficiency.

Ability to work independently and be organized in order to meet deadlines.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Possess critical thinking skills with attention to detail.Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:Work is primarily performed in an office setting and is considered sedentary work.

Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.

Walking and standing are required only occasionally.

Requires exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

Requires normal/corrected vision and hearing to normal range.

Requires good manual and finger dexterity to operate computers, phones, and handle documents.

The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
