From working with a team of exceptional healthcare professionals to using state-of-the-art facilities, youll have everything you need to do something incrediblefor yourself, and for others.Do you work well in a large team environment where critical thinking is essential?Days/Hours:Tuesday – Saturday, 10 am – 6:30 pmAs Physical Therapist in Acute Care setting at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, you will primarily completes evaluations and provides appropriate treatment interventions per policies. Completes required documentation in an accurate and thorough manner within expected timeframes. Utilizes validated and standardized outcome measures to establish goals, demonstrate progress and patient rehabilitation prognosis. Monitors and modifies progress of patients assigned to assistants. Demonstrates effective communication skills with patients, families and care team members.Educational Requirements: Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree preferred.License/Certification Requirements: Current and valid Physical Therapist license per California State requirements Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross.Experience: Good knowledge of assessment and intervention techniques in a medical and physical disabilities setting. Able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be competent by virtue of training and/or experience to perform evaluations, design and implement treatment plans and provide education in a manner appropriate to the age of the patient. A minimum of 0-3 years experience as a practicing therapist and evidence of ability to perform at this level.Physical Demands: Standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 35 pounds, carrying, pushing, pulling, balancing, etc.Cedars-Sinai is an EEO employer.
