The Recovery Specialist position is a highly-valued role in the UGP system.

Recovery specialists are the stewards of the health, safety and well-being of every single client at UGP.

They meet the needs of our clients through courteous, professional, and golf-specific assessment and orthopedic examination/treatment and coordinate with our Golf Coaching and Fitness Team to provide the most holistic, golf-specific rehabilitation, injury prevention and performance enhancement in the world.

They are involved in the development of every single UGP client, and provide an invaluable bed of knowledge and expertise to our company.(br((br(*Requirements*(br((br(* Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree/Doctor of Chiropractic Degree(br(* Training in soft tissue/joint mobilization techniques(br(* Specialized certifications or training in corrective exercise (i.e.

Personal training Certification, ACE, CSCS, NASM, etc
– subject to review by the hiring manager)(br(* Golf experience highly preferred(br(* Sales experience highly preferred(br(* Strong oral and written communication skills(br(* Positive, enthusiastic, empathetic, selfless personality(br(* Strong time management skills(br(* Experience using Microsoft Office, Excel, Google etc(br((br(*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*(br((br(The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:(br(* Conducting golf specific movement assessments and highly skilled orthopedic examination(br(* The Recovery specialist is instrumental in initiating, developing and executing a individualized development program, based on the assessment results and provides whatever is needed (rehabilitation, mobility programs, progression to our Fitness Department, etc) to create the best possible golf development(br(* Intense collaboration with the our Golf and Fitness coaches to best serve the client’s golf and personal development before, during, and after coaching sessions(br(* Creating a 5-star customer experience by going above and beyond for each client and anticipating their needs(br(* Completing necessary administrative duties to follow-up with clients, communicate with team members, and develop fitness plans(br(* Reporting to Director of Performance weekly for performance updates(br(* Monitoring facility upkeep to maintain client experience(br((br(Job Type: Full-time(br((br(Pay: $55,000.00
