Position will start off as remote/work from home and return to office next year 2022
- PAY RATE: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour (possible increase after 90 days)
- HOURS: Full-time 40 hours per week. Monday – Friday no weekends – 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM is main shift. Other shift available.
Pharmacy Technician Details
- Outreach to members to follow up with them on medications to see how they’re doing
- Outreach to support members
- Work alongside with pharmacist
- Under the direction of Pharmacy Technician, track and triage coverage determination requests submitted from providers and determine if a pharmacist review is required.
- Enter and document coverage determination request decision into the PBM system and notify providers and/or members.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding authorization approvals and PBM on-line applications.
- Refer coverage determination requests for specialty drugs to delegated vendor or client for processing.
- Notify physicians, providers and members of coverage determination request decisions.
Job Requirements:
Required:
- Must have a CA State Pharmacy Technician License clear and active
- Preferred – Certified as a Pharmacy Technician and have clear and active pharmacy tech license. Certification Active under PTCB or ExCPT.
- 1+ years of experience in a Windows based computer utilizing Microsoft Offices.
- Prefer Healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions
