Pharmacy Technician – Pharmacy Buyer
Rx relief is seeking a Pharmacy Technician – Pharmacy Buyer to work in an administrative setting in the Los Angeles, CA area in a NON-Classified COVID-19 Facility. We are looking to fill this position quickly!

Pay/Compensation and Benefits for:
Pharmacy Technician – Pharmacy Buyer
$20.00 per hour – Depending on Experience

Pharmacy Technician – Pharmacy Buyer Job Specifics and Requirements:
- Must be able to work in the Los Angeles, CA area.
- Must have valid, clear, and active California Pharmacy Technician license – (PTCB not required, but preferred)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience, Hospital experience is a plus
- Pharmacy Buyer/ Purchasing experience is a plus
- Background and Drug Screening
- Health Screening will be required
- Must provide proof of Covid 19 vaccine

Pharmacy Technician – Pharmacy Buyer Schedule:
- 9:00am-5:00pm
- Monday-Friday/ some Weekends
- Temporary to Permanent

Job Requirements:

Pharmacy Technician – Pharmacy Buyer Responsibilities:
· Maintains an inventory of drugs and supplies in accordance with the current purchasing group programs
· Prepares and places drug orders with manufacturers and wholesalers
· Prepares and places non-drug supply orders
· Receives drug and non-drug supplies and assures the items and counts are correct as per invoice
· Distributes supplies in proper location under proper storage conditions
· Prepares necessary documentation to initiate processing the invoices
· Manages recall information and return goods process
· Conducts monthly review of contract compliance
· Searches for hard to find drugs and keeps Pharmacy informed of status
· Manages expired drug rebates
