Pharmacy Technician- Outpatient / Inpatient Hospital

Rx relief is seeking a Pharmacy Technician- Outpatient/ Inpatient Hospital to work in a hospital setting in the South Los Angeles, CA area in a NON-Classified COVID-19 Facility. We are looking to fill this position quickly!
Pay/ Compensation and Benefits for:
Pharmacy Technician- Outpatient / Inpatient Hospital
***CAN BE UP TO $20 for those with exact experience!***
***Rx relief will provide FREE classes to help you pass your PTCB exam! And will help you set up the PTCB exam itself!
Pharmacy Technician – Outpatient / Inpatient Hospital Specifics and Requirements:
· Must be able to work in the South Los Angeles, CA area
· Must have valid, clear, and active California Pharmacy Technician license – (PTCB not required, but preferred)
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· 1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience, Hospital experience is a plus
· Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
· Background and Drug Screening required
· Health Screening will be required
· Must provide proof of Covid 19 vaccine
Pharmacy Technician – Outpatient / Inpatient Hospital Work Schedule:
· Schedule Varies – Day and Afternoon shifts available
· Monday-Friday/ Weekends
· Temporary to Permanent

Job Requirements:
Pharmacy Technician – Outpatient / Inpatient Hospital Responsibilities:
· Preparation of medications for patients
· Receiving and verifying the prescriptions
· Pricing and filling of prescriptions
· Obtaining pharmacist’s approval
· Completing patient paperwork related to the filling of prescription
· Assisting with insurance claims processing (usually a pharmacist will handle this, but help could be needed)
· Stocking and pricing of medications in inventory
· Ensuring availability of drugs by delivering them to patients or facilities
· Maintaining pharmacy’s (and its patients’ employees’) safety by adhering to infection-control procedures, policies and regulations
