We have urgent opening for _*Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP) *_for _*Los Angeles*_ Location.
* _*Shift Schedule Details & Shift Duration: Days & Nights; 7-7. Mainly night shifts *_
* _*Initial 6-month assignment (Possibility of extension)*_
* _*It’s a referral center for young patients requiring highly complicated and life-saving procedures. They are a Level-1 Trauma Unit and admit nearly 1400 critically ill patients each year.*_
* _*Type of Patients/Cases: Pediatric ICU Cases. Surgical cases. Cardiac overflow. Quick-turn ICU. *_
* _*Patients per Day/Volume: 12 bed unit, plan to cover an average of 6 patients per night. *_
* _*Support Staff: 2 NPs on each shift. Attending during day shift, night shift attending on call, full nursing team. *_
* _*Responsible of Mid-Level Providers.*_
* _*The NPs operate independently, running the units’ days and nights.*_
* _*Board Certified Required: Yes*_
* _*Active CA State License Required: Yes *_
