The Ambulatory Patient Care Coordinator in Hematology Oncology is an important role that will be a centralized entryway for all new referrals, online second opinions, and global health referrals for the Cancer & Blood Disease Institute (CBDI).
Will work closely with Patient Services Representative (PSR) team members to coordinate the patients’ referral packets and secure triage by providers.
The Coordinator will also track incoming/ongoing referrals and provide status updates to CBDI management and leadership.
Minimum Experience Required Three years pediatric BMT and Hematology/Oncology Ambulatory experience preferred.
Three years pediatric Hematology/Oncology Experience required.
Strong Organizational skils, chart review and triage, able to identify varifying levels or urgency; strong phone and electronic communication skills.
Bilingual with expertise in clinical terminology.
Minimum Education/Training Required BSN from an NLN accredited school of nursing.
License, Registration or Certification Required California RN license, AHA CPR card
You must be willing to reside in the state of California, and have a primary work site in the state of California, to be considered for this position.
