A large Southern California Healthcare organization is actively seeking a Nurse
Manager to oversee their Neurosurgery Clinic, adjacent to their world class Medical
Center.
The Nurse Manager Neurology Ambulatory Care Clinic, will report to the Nurse Director
Ambulatory Care Services, and will be responsible for 50 FTE’s.
The Neurology Clinic Practice Manager will be joining a prestigious medical center that
has been recognized for their excellence in Ambulatory Clinic Services. This Neurology
Clinic offers a wide range of services including adult specialty clinics, general neurology,
and state of the art laboratories. Patients cared for with this clinic include those with
neurological disorders including Alzheimer’s, dementia, epilepsy, Parkinson’s and
Huntington’s diseases, tremor, sleep disorders, neuromuscular conditions, headache,
and, multiple sclerosis.
As the Manager of our Ambulatory Neurosurgery Center, you will play a pivotal role in
overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring the provision of high-quality patient
care. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of management, from
coordinating patient flow and scheduling surgeries to recruiting, training, and
supervising our dedicated team of neurosurgeons, nurses, medical assistants, and
administrative staff. In addition to efficiently managing resources and maintaining a
positive work environment, you will be tasked with monitoring the center’s budget,
negotiating contracts with vendors, and implementing cost-effective solutions to ensure
financial stability.
The neurosurgery clinic is a specialized medical facility where patients with neurological
disorders or conditions receive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment from
neurosurgeons and other healthcare professionals trained in neurosurgery.
Neurosurgery is a medical specialty that focuses on the surgical treatment of disorders
affecting the nervous system, including: Brain Tumors, Spinal Disorders, Neurological
Trauma, Epilepsy, Movement Disorders, Cerebrovascular Conditions and Peripheral
Nerve Disorders.
