The value you’ll bring to the team:

Assists the Nursing Department functions on the unit by adhering to established rules and procedures and ensuring the level of care is compatible with the Nursing Department’s philosophy and objectives.
Serves meals, nutrients, and beverages to residents. Assists residents who require assistance. Reports any changes in eating and drinking habits to the Charge Nurse and notes the adjustments as needed.
Monitors any changes in eating and drinking habits to the Charge Nurse and notes the adjustments as needed.
Transports residents as needed across the facility and may accompany residents to off-site appointments and/or activities on occasion.
Monitors temperature, pulse, respiration rates, and weights inhabitants as required. Reports any aberrant values to the Charge Nurse as soon as possible.
Tracks intake and output in accordance with policy and procedure.
Maintain cleanliness on residents’ beds and manages dirty bed linens in accordance with policy and practice to prevent the spread of infection.
Completes needed reports and other documents in a timely and accurate way.
Cleans and disinfects nursing equipment and work environments. Keeps the workplace clean and safe. Cleans resident rooms, closets, and wardrobes, among other things.

Core Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Full vaccination against COVID-19 is required, before employment may begin
Ability and willingness to provide exceptional care and service to our older adult Residents
Basic Cardiac Life Support card (American Heart)
18 years old and above
Ability to undergo a background check
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Willingness to undergo training
Ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects
