Job Title: Medical Material Technician Based at: Aviano, Italy.

Job Summary: Sanford Federal is looking for a successful and detail-oriented individual to join our team as ?Medical Material Technician?.

The Medical Material Technician should have all the relevant education and experiences to perform the duties in such an effective and efficient manner, and his/her responsibilities include treatment and/or support treatment of the patients of the 31st Medical Group.

Ultimately, a top-notch Medical Material Technician should have excellent organizational and communication skills, and great computer skills.

Requirements: The Candidate must meet the following requirements * Education and License:* Must have High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalency.* Experience:* Have 12 months of full-time experience in Logistics Management or equivalent in the last 36 months.* Preferred experience: Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) system, project management, and forklift operation.

* Skills and Abilities:* Proficient with Microsoft Office software.* Read, understand, speak, and write English fluently.* Knowledge in medical privacy and confidentiality (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)); accreditation standards of Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) and The Joint Commission (TJC).* Computer applications/software to include Microsoft Office programs, MS Outlook (e-mail), and internet familiarity is required.* The ability to input, extract and format data from established databases is desired.* Must be skillful and tactful in communicating with people who may be physically or mentally ill, uncooperative, fearful, emotionally distraught, and occasionally dangerous.* Organization, problem-solving and communication skills to articulate medical requirements to medical and non-medical staff in a professional and courteous way.Duties: The Candidate will undertake the following duties and responsibilities: * Perform a broad range of standard receiving assignments.

Verify shipments.

Match specific item ID by name, stock number, letter, code, quantity, or unit of issue on containers.

Unload incoming shipments, scan bar codes, or key receipt information into automated record system.* Perform a broad range of standard storage assignments.

Store, stack, palletize, and/or rotate items considering their use, size, shape, quantity, and special handling requirements.

Match, check, and compare data on storage instruments with materials to be stored against materials already in storage locations.* Perform tasks involved in issuing/shipping items.

Select and assemble items based on priority, type of material, mode of transportation, destination, and type of transaction.* Assist in accomplishing inventories by counting items and properly completing tally listings and other inventory documents.* Operate automated material handling and identification equipment to include mobile stock selectors and electromechanical automated equipment such as high rise automated storage and retrieval vehicles, to move, stack and unstack, load and unload, bin, and position material.* Perform material handling duties, including the use of tools and other equipment, in a safe manner, utilize safety practices and procedures, and comply with established safety rules and regulations.* Maintain documents electronic records.
