Looking for a Psychiatric Medical Director – Full Time We are a mental and behavioral health agency situated in Los Angeles, CA, with two upcoming branches ready to be utilized by mid May, early June 2021. As we get the spaces ready, we are looking for individuals excited to start this business venture, and help us positively shape the workplace in the best way possible. As were are essentially a new business, with ties to our Washinton DC-based branches, we are looking to everyone to help us solidify a work-culture that instills confidence, safety, security, fairness, and above all else, equality. So without further adieu, here is what we are looking for in our Psychiatric Medical Director position: • Manage and oversee daily clinical and administrative operations. • Attend and present at meetings with other departments and area groups and agencies. • Provide patient care and follow up services, including assessing patient care plans. • Develop and implement behavioral health and recovery services and systems. • Develop, evaluate, approve and revise clinical policy and protocols. • Responsible for the direction and oversight of psychiatric evaluations, medications, and medical management. • Serve as the leader of any and all treatment teams. • Serve as an advocate for the needs and rights of both team members and currently enrolled patients. • Administer performance-improvement activities. • Oversee and manage psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, physician assistance, and possibly psychiatric interns. • Must report to Chief Operation Officer and/or Vice President of the company. **Must be an approved Medi-Cal provider or have the ability to become one with no restrictions. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $275,000.00 – $350,000.00 per year
