2 plus years IP coding experience
CCS, RHIA, RHIT certification
Acute Care Hospital IP coding experience
Trauma Level 1 or 2 experience
Must possess a thorough knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS coding principles and applications as they relate to acute care hospital coding and grouping
Thorough knowledge of Official Coding Guidelines and payer specific requirements
Maintain 95% DRG and overall accuracy rate
