● We are seeking full-time Licensed Vocational Nurses for day and night shifts in a very busy acute psychiatric/inpatient detox unit.
● Must be available to work three rotating 12-hour shifts per week as needed.
We will rely on you to:
● Assist in formulating plans and deliver nursing assessments and interventions
● Administer medications, assesses effectiveness and monitor for side effects
● Educate patients on the medical aspects of treatment
● Complete pre-admission triage and determine medical/nursing appropriateness of admission
● Document patient progress and treatment and communicate significant changes in condition

Job Requirements:
Requirements
● Graduate of an accredited LVN or LPT school or college
● Licensed to practice in California
● Current CPR card
● Experience in a behavioral/chemical dependency setting required
● Chemical dependency/dual diagnosis experience preferred
● 2 years of recent acute care experience preferred
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills; bilingual preferred
● Computer literacy
