Al Udeid Expeditionary Medical Facilities Management group manages the day to day maintenance of the Hospital and all associated buildings.

Description: Caliburn is currently seeking Healthcare Facilities Manager to support our Al Udeid Expeditionary Medical Facilities Management team located Al Udeid Air Base contract in Qatar.

Al Udeid Expeditionary Medical Facilities Management group manages the day to day maintenance of the Hospital and all associated buildings.

Location: Deploying to Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar Duties: The primary responsibilities of the Position include the following: Provides maintenance management services related to commercial electrical systems, building maintenance, carpentry, including proper operation of plumbing, heating ventilating air conditioning (HVAC) refrigeration systems, and fire alarm systems in the medical facilities.

Serves as the primary interface with the customer, Contracting Officer/Contracting Officer Representative and other designated Government officials through the term of the contract and related task orders.

Ensures customer satisfaction by delivering quality service and effective solutions.

Prepares and manages program budgets, schedules and archives all performance standards and matrix.

Responsible for the performance of all OM&R work in the medical facilities.

Manage the Fire Prevention and Protection Program IAW Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) and applicable AFIs.

Perform reconciliation of real property records in DMLSS/DML-ES, as required per AFI guidelines and the prime contractor Coordinate with Base Civil Engineering on recurring and non-recurring health facility maintenance Responsible for the care, custody, and protection of the real property facilities assigned and the real property installed equipment (RPIE) Proactive in participation with the utilities conservation program; fire-safety of the buildings; and proper use of the medical buildings assigned to the contractor.

Proactive management includes fully understanding the operation and maintenance of all infrastructure systems, understanding of future requirements and limitations, and appropriate equipment and material supporting the real property facilities assigned and the RPIE installed therein.

Attend regular meetings with Expeditionary Medical Group and base organizations, to include making presentations when requested.

Additionally, the HFM or alternate shall ensure that all scheduled maintenance complies with applicable codes and standards.

Knowledge of repairing and maintaining medical gas distribution systems and associated components.

Able to perform repair, overhaul, maintenance and servicing of commercial and industrial systems, including plumbing, electrical, and electronic systems.

Have working knowledge of Nurse call systems, medical gas and vacuum systems.

Perform minor maintenance of interior and exterior surfaces of the building, including locksmithing and door maintenance.

Serve as the DMLSS/DML-ES specialist supporting medical facility life cycle management using the DMLSS/DML-ES Facility Management module to manage the preventive and corrective maintenance program Oversee the periodically testing of ventilation systems serving special medical spaces (Isolation Rooms, Operating Rooms, and Sterile Rooms) as needed to ensure that the air changes, pressure relationships Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Supervises contracted maintenance employees daily to ensure compliance with the statement of work.

Qualifications: 5 Years’ experience in a health care facility operations, maintenance and supervisory experience.

Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager (CHFM) Certification is preferred.

Equivalent certification will be considered.

A Minimum of 2-year experience using Microsoft Office products to include Work, Excel and PowerPoint.

HVAC and Fire Alarm Maintenance experience.

Universal EPA 608 or NATE certification preferred.

Backflow Preventer Pluming experience preferred.

Must have the ability to read prints, layouts and install duct work without major supervision.

Knowledge of the various codes and standards applicable to the O&M tasks covered by the performance work statement, NFPA, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) codes and standards and TJC for clinic accreditations.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Strong problem-solving skills to research and resolve inquiries and respond in a timely manner.

Ability to work well with senior management and across functions to achieve business objectives.

Requirements: Must have a current U.S.

passport.

Ability to obtain a U.S.

Government DoD Secret Clearance.

US Driver’s License.

Sign a International Assignment Agreement (IAA) and is bound to the terms and conditions of the IAA.

Shall be proficient in the ability to speak, write, and communicate in English.

Shall demonstrate proficiency in the use of basic word processing programs and Systems software.

Physical Requirements: Must meet pre-deployment physical requirements.

No conditions that would prevent the wear of personal protective equipment; including protective mask, ballistic helmet, body armor and chemical/biological protective garments or conditions that would prevent the capability of donning, lifting or carrying of up to 70 lbs.
