Aquila’s full-time Health and Fitness Specialist assists members in safe and effective exercise and performs a wide range of technical exercise and administrative duties in health/fitness center.
This position is 40 work hours per week, Monday-Friday.
The pay rate is $46,500 annually base salary.

– spotting and equipment usage Explain all equipment Ensure the maintenance, cleanliness and safety of all equipment Adhere to departmental and club policies and procedures Adhere to client’s policies and procedures Attend staff meetings Assist in wellness and fitness promotions and external events Perform daily administrative duties Requirements This position requires full vaccination against COVID-19, or a valid religious or medical exemption for COVID-19 vaccination.

Qualifications: Associate’s Degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or Health Promotion or Related Field Active NCCA accredited National Fitness Certification
– (ACE, ACSM, NSCA, NASM, NCSF, NCCPT or AFAA or any other that is NCCA accredited) Minimum of 4 years experience in fitness assessments and training, personal coaching, and similar activities.
Certified in American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers; American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Course; American Red Cross CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) for the Professional Rescuer; or equivalent Able to work full time, 5 days a week Skills required: Excellent verbal communication skills Knowledge of fitness training principles Customer service oriented Organized Motivating, confident, and enthusiastic Positive attitude Punctual Dependable Knowledgeable Creative Maintain a desire for continual improvement All candidates must be able to complete a background check.
