In this pivotal role, the Senior Manager will be responsible for designing, developing, managing, and implementing high-quality training curricula and programs for the Global Medical staff (Medical Science Liaisons, Global Medical Communications, Global Publications and Medical Directors/Advisors/Scientists).

Responsibilities Focus on learning and performance needs for Medical Value and Access (including Health Outcomes and Pharmacoeconomics) across all of Amgens therapeutic areas (Bone, Cardiovascular, Inflammation, Nephrology, Neuroscience, and Oncology/Hematology) for both originator products and biosimilars.

Liaising with Medical Science Liaison, Medical Communication, and Medical partners globally to drive the training strategy, enable impactful medical staff, develop therapeutic training and curriculum activities, and lead new hire training.

work closely with internal (e.g., Global Medical, Global Medical Communications, Medical Science Liaisons) and external groups (e.g., suppliers, opinion leaders) to develop and implement these training programs.

Basic Qualifications: Doctorate degree and 2 years of experience OR Masters degree and 6 years of experience OR Bachelors degree and 8 years of experience OR Associates degree and 10 years of experience AND 2 years of managerial experience directly leading people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing the allocation of resources Preferred Qualifications: A professional degree of Pharm.D., or MD/DO or PhD in a relevant medical science field (eg, biology, chemistry, pharmacology) with 5 or more years of biotech/pharmaceutical and /or clinical experience 5 Experience clinical training methodology, design, and evaluation 2 years experience with medical value and access 2 Experience in Health Outcomes and/or Pharmacoeconomics Excellent technical writing, oral, presentation, and project management skills and the ability to search, critically analyze and summarize scientific literature Understanding of the pharmaceutical commercialization process and knowledge of the legal and regulatory guidelines affecting the promotion of prescription products Ability to interface cross-functionally in a dynamic, matrixed environment Quality and risk management experience Thrive What you can expect of us As we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for our teammates professional and personal growth and well-being.
