Clinical RN – Acute Care

NorthBay Health is hiring for Clinical Nurse II on the Acute Care Unit to work either in Fairfield and Vacaville, CA.

At NorthBay Health the Registered Nurse, Clinical Nurse II on the Acute Care Unit will provide safe, effective, quality, excellent nursing care to our patients following Jean Watson’s Theory of Caring, the Relationship Based Care, and the NorthBay’s professional nursing practice model.

As a Clinical Nurse II you will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for all patients assigned to your care. You will also use a therapeutic professional relationship with the patient and their family along with your interdisciplinary team to facilitate the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of health for the patient. Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base Salary range: $67.09 – $73.65 per hour, based on years of experience in the specialty as a Registered Nurse.
  • Shift Differentials:
    • On call/Per Diem Positions offer a 15% additional differential is added to the hourly base rate for positions in this status.
    • PM Shift Differential: $6.60 additional per hour for PM Shifts
    • NOC Shift Differential: $9.80 additional per hour for NOC shifts
    • Standby rate: $26.00

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Nursing degree of BSN level or higher is required.
  • Valid, current and unencumbered RN license
  • Candidates that have applied for a CA RN License OR that have a temp CA RN License will be considered.
  • Current AHA or AHA equivalent BLS and ACLS required.
  • Must have Telemetry certification within 3 months of employment.
  • National nursing certification is preferred Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
  • Must have a Minimum of six months’ acute care RN experience required (One full year of skilled nursing care, Long Term Acute Care, or Acute Rehabilitation is equivalent to six months of acute care experience.)
  • One year of Medical/Surgical RN experience highly preferred.
  • Competent in providing skilled registered nursing care to Medical/Surgical/Tele level patients
  • Proficient written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.
