Enovate Medical: Technical Service Specialist

*Position Summary: * The ideal candidate is customer centric and driven with excellent technical skills to find successful resolutions to customer service issues in a hospital environment.

Requires excellent communication skills including listening when communicating with the customer either over the phone or at a hospital.

Provides onsite repair and maintenance as well as telephone, email, and support in the form of troubleshooting and drilldown to identify and correct issues with Enovate Medical products including power systems, computer systems, and electronic products along with mechanical and IT problems at customer locations.*Purpose: * To interface with customers at their location and provide solutions for issues with Enovate Medical products.

As well as recommend upgrades and replacement parts and services that best fit the customer’s needs.*Essential Functions*:* Provides onsite repair and maintenance to Enovate Products at customer locations.* Provides Telephone, Email, and troubleshooting and walk through of repairs.* Completes all required documentation in order to support trending analysis and Quality System requirements.* Identifies and analyzes product failures, and replaces parts as needed.* Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customer’s needs.

Orders and replaces parts or quotes for parts and services as required.* Practices Continuous Improvement to procedures and processes on an ongoing basis.* Ability to manage schedule and expenses.*Other Functions: * Analyze customer needs regarding service and maintenance, replacement parts, and upsell to meet departmental financial goals.*Minimal Qualifications*:* Must have excellent documentation practices.* Candidate must have excellent troubleshooting skills.* Must be proficient in computer operation including but not limited to, Microsoft Office suite, various CRM (Customer Relationship Management) programs and accounting software.* Must have a sense of urgency in resolving customer issues or perceived issues.* Proficient typist.* Ability to multitask and manage schedules and expenses.* Must have basic knowledge of computer and electronics repair and operational theory.* Must have good mechanical skills to facilitate walk through of repairs over the telephone and assist with creation of work instructions.* Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.* Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.* Must have reliable transportation.* Must maintain a professional appearance consistent with a corporate environment.* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.* Must be available to respond to emergency evening and weekend service calls if required.* Must be able to communicate effectively with a broad range of individuals at all levels.* Must be able to complete assignments as agreed upon and assure customer is completely satisfied.* Work independently to meet deadlines and achieve results.* Must be up to date on vaccinations required by the vendor certification programs such as Vendormate.*Experience: * Minimum of two years in technical support with electronic and mechanical experience.

Must be comfortable using tools for diagnosis and repair of electronic and mechanical equipment; experience with the repair of equipment in a hospital environment is a plus.*Education: * Associates degree in electronics/computer applications or equivalent work experience.
