Those with BICU competencies will be assigned to both the BICU and Burn Medical-Surgical Unit.Reports To: Burn Service Line DirectorSupervises: NoneQualifications Position Requirements:Licensure/ Certification/Registration:* Current CA RN license required.* Current BCLS required* Current ACLS required.* Current PALS required.
* Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS) preferred upon hire, required within 6 months of hire.
* Current CCRN required* Pediatrics Critical Care Course and Adult Care Course completion preferredEducation:* BSN* Recent Posttraumatic stress training preferred.
Experience:* Minimum of 2 years Critical Care experience preferred.
* 6 months experience in acute pediatric care setting preferred.Special Qualifications:* Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing required.
* Proficiency in hemodynamic and respiratory interventions preferred.
