Responsible 24 hours a day for the ongoing effective operation of the Pharmacy by exerting a leadership role which supports the hospitalâs mission, vision, goals and objectives, while focusing on the patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and the community as customers.
Ongoing accountability for the continuous assessment, improvement, coordination and integration of the department services and standards of care into the hospitalâs primary function.
Position is responsible for approving timekeeping, employee evaluation, meeting applicable regulatory standards and approving supply orders.
Must have experience as a Director of Pharmacy in an in-patient acute care hospital setting.
Qualifications THE DIRECTOR PHARMACY SERVICES FULL TIME DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
Minimum Education Graduate of Accredited School of Pharmacy.
Minimum Experience Five years experience as a Pharmacist in an acute care in-patient hospital setting.
Preferred Experience Minimum three years as a Director of Pharmacy in an in-patient acute care hospital.
