Crisis Clinician, Crisis Services – ED

Overview: Atlantic Health System hospitals provide compassionate, patient-centered care to northern New Jersey and surrounding areas.

We are currently seeking a Full-time Crisis clinician at Newton Medical Center to work from 9:00-5:00.

Responsibilities: Evaluate emergency department-referred patients with behavioral health and psychiatric emergencies.Conduct screening evaluations.Coordinate with an interdepartmental treatment team.Complete accurate, timely documentation.Provide county screening services Qualifications: EDUCATION:1.masters degree in mental health field and experience 1 below; OR2.bachelors degree in mental health field and experience 2 below; OR3.

bachelors degree in mental health field and experience 3 below.All degrees must be from an accredited institution.QUALIFICATIONS: 1 year post-masters full time professional experience in a psychiatric setting2.

3 years post-bachelors full time experience in a psychiatric setting, one of which is in a crisis setting3.
