The Clincal Service Assistant is responsible for providing non-clinical administrative support to clinical associates, and clinical care managers within the plan.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Supports systems, workflow, and reporting-related requirements of the plan.
Identifies trends and opportunities for additional associate training on workflows and processes.
Monitors unit workflow and processes and identifies opportunities for improvements.
Provides administrative support to associates to help in identifying and resolving workflow and process issues.
Assists leads and management with the implementation of new and existing non-clinical policies and procedures.
Runs ad-hoc reports.
Provides user acceptance training coordination on new systems and enhancements, and provides input on new unit procedures, policies and workflow related topics.
Processes HIP alerts, routes facsimiles and coordinates dialer campaigns.
Works with referral services associates to ensure seamless processes.
Provides administrative support including triaging help desk tickets, monitoring group email/voice mail boxes, participating in clinical Rounds, and processing internal referrals Supports workforce management, clinical care managers and other special projects.
Qualifications Minium Requirements: High school diploma and a minimum of 1 year experience in a business or health care setting; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background Preferred Qualifications: Associates degree in a related field and prior experience in a healthcare or managed care environment preferred.
