Responsibilities

RN–*20K sign on bonus*

Operating Room

Is responsible for ongoing assessment and maintenance of nursing department quality processes, including , but not limited to Medication Management, JCAHO Core Measures, Pneumovax /Influenza Protocol, medical record review, as well as coordination of the Performance Improvement monitoring for these quality processes. Collaborates with other departments for shared processes, i. e. Pharmacy, Nursing Education, Quality and risk Management, JCAHO process teams. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Working knowledge of CMS, Title 22, JCAHO standards, and other regulatory agency requirements Knowledge of current nursing theory and practice as it relates to the clinical work area.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years current acute care registered nursing experience in specialty area required.
  • Current certification in specialty area preferred.
  • Experience with EHR (Cerner, MediTech, etc) preferred.
  • Registered Nurse with current California License required.
  • Current AHA BLS card required.
  • LA City Fire Card required within 90 days of hire.
