Clinical Marketing Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated person to join and support our growth through creative and effective hands-on execution of our vision and strategy through business development, sales, and marketing.

This role involves owning the marketing strategy and implementation while cross-functionally with the business development team at RDI, managing the related resources.

Founded in 2008, Research & Development Institute (RDI) is a leader in the clinical research industry, with over 110 clinical trials completed.

The company boasts a national network of physicians & labs and supplies the largest In Vitro Diagnostic companies with the research data they need to improve healthcare worldwide.

RDI is a trial management organization connecting IVD manufacturers and pharmaceutical companies with a network of doctors participating in advancing medical research.

We provide sample procurement, conduct testing, and simplify the clinical trial process for our clients while recruiting, educating, and training independent physicians to participate in vitro diagnostic studies, unlocking access to valuable patient samples.

What you’ll do
Identify target physicians and patients for each new client request, working alongside COO and Chief Science Officer.

Support ongoing relationships with physicians and keep them updated as new client requests come in.

Develop marketing material suitable for busy physicians who don’t have time to read concise study summaries, clear calls to action, and include relevant study material so they can decide quickly.

Develop and execute campaigns to recruit more physicians, using a combination of freelance lead generation staff, and run email and social media campaigns using Salesforce and Hubspot.

Develop and execute chatbots and social media paid posts to recruit patients to our physician sites.

Manage our social media channels and optimize for our 4 audiences: clients, doctors, patients, and employee recruits.

Ensure all studies are up to date on the website RDITrials.com.

Recruit and manage freelance designers and developers as needed for marketing projects.

What you’ll bring

The Clinical Marketer will be responsible for implementing the marketing engine that predictably drives quality physicians and talent for RDI’s clients.

This role will implement programs across all parts of the customer journey (Awareness, Interest, Evaluation, Decision, and Nurture).

A digital native fluent in everything from SEO to paid Facebook/Social Media posts, to HubSpot drip
campaigns.

Demonstrated ability to create or work alongside designers to create compelling presentations, emails, and posts.

Must be humble, hungry, and people smart.

Can flexibly work remotely but be able to commute to our office ~3 days a week.

2-4 years of experience driving growth/demand for a fast-growing company
Requirements

Clinical Background with a BS or MS in science

Prior experience working in a Clinical marketing capacity

Previously ran campaigns and outreach targeting Physicians and Patients

Nice to have
Experience in Healthcare, Clinical Research or CLIA Labs Web Designing experience Experience with tools like Figma, Canva, etc.
