Clinical Director, Radiation Oncology

The Clinical Director performs the management function of assigned clinical ambulatory and community practices including direct supervision of all staff providing patient services regardless of whether the staff are health system or departmental employees.

Assist with establishing a discipline specific infrastructure within Institution Health to include recruitment of physicians and staff to support the assigned ambulatory and community practices.

Oversee clinical operations in the clinic including meeting the requirements for compliance, patient satisfaction, patient safety and quality and supervision of staff in accordance with Institution Health policies and procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.

Monitors clinic productivity, billing practices, audit requirements, equipment maintenance, and IT services necessary for the success of the ambulatory and community practice.

Monitors financial performance of the ambulatory and community practice (in collaboration with the Executive Medical Director and Executive Director, Clinical Services).

Executes strategic plans for expansion and assists in implementing the strategic plan of Institution Health as it relates to the ambulatory and community practice.

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will have 5-7 years in healthcare management.

We seek someone with a Master’s degree (Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Public health or related field) or combination of education and relevant experience.

Top candidates will have expertise in managing patient services and nursing staffing in environment with a high volume of patient visits as well as the strengths, abilities, and knowledge listed below.
