Overview: Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full Time Certified Medical Assistant to join the Pediatric Orthopedic department in Morristown, NJ.
Monday through Friday hours, 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Responsibilities: Essential Functions:The Certified Medical Assistant will perform clinical as well as administrative functions i.e.
vital signs, patient intake, rooming of patients, assisting physicians as needed, cleaning and restocking roomsCMA
– Certified Medical Assistant will also be ordering supplies and maintaining exam rooms, as well as registering and scheduling patients in practice management system and any assignment requested by Practice Manager.
Qualifications: Education:High School Diploma requiredQualifications/Requirements:MA certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA requiredMinimum one year of experience in a medical practice preferredAbility to work flexible hours to accommodate physicians scheduleEMR (EPIC) experience a plusSurgical office experience desired About Us: Atlantic Health System aims to deliver the highest quality, safety and care combined with the best experience for our patients and their families.
