Still University’s (ATSU) Central Coast Physician Assistant (CCPA) Program invites applications for an Assistant Professor, Clinical Coordinator in Santa Maria, California.

Working with the CCPA program personnel, medical director, clinical site administration, and clinical preceptors, the Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the clinical phase of the PA Program and will travel to clinical sites across the country.

Duties include but are not limited to: Assure that all aspects of the clinical phase meet accreditation requirements Develop and renew clinical site acquisition and affiliation agreements Recruit, acquire, orient, and evaluate clinical preceptors Work with clinical site liaisons and RDPAEs to coordinate student activities and provide timely communication to clinical sites Travel to clinical sites located in various US states Develop and maintain clinical course syllabi, learning outcomes, objectives and assessment of clinical rotations Analyze and report student performance Develop and conduct clinical assessments Advise students in the Preclinical and Clinical Phase of the program Attend meetings, committees, events, and activities of the Program, department, and University as assigned Participate in scholarly activity, professional activity, and research as mutually agreed with the program director Other duties and activities as assigned by the program director Adhere to University and PA Program policies and procedures.

Efficiently work in online platforms such as google suite, learning management systems, online student tracking platforms, office suites, email, and video conferencing Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills QUALIFICATIONS: NCCPA certified physician assistant (PA) Masters degree or higher from a regionally accredited academic institution 3 years’ experience as a practicing PA Current PA licensure in California (if from out of state, will obtain licensure within 3 months of hire) Prior experience in higher education or clinical preceptorship is preferred Qualifications Skills Required Evaluating Intermediate Communication Intermediate Behaviors: Motivations: Education Required Masters or better in Physician Assistant or related field.Experience Licenses & Certifications To apply, visit Copyright 2021 Inc.
