With your 5 years or more experience you will assist two leaders in their fields of Endodontics and Prosthodontics with providing premium personalized care treating patients, setting up equipment, and performing basic office management tasks to support the practice.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:Assist and provide direct patient oral care and assist in the treatment procedures of Endodontics and Prosthodontics specialties.Take and develop dental diagnostic x-rays.Record medical and treatment information in patient records and taking patient vitals.Set up and break down patient rooms, sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials.Coordinate and communicate with suppliers to order dental equipment and supplies and manage dental inventory supply system.Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)Five years or more of experience as a dental assistant in an office practice preferred.
Working knowledge in Endodontics and Prosthodontics a plus but not required.Working knowledge in four hand technique.Working knowledge of Softdent and Kodak software systems.Cross trained for front/back-office a plus.Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
