Essential Job Functions:
Assist in the delivery and structure of program activities in Residential Treatment including:
Performing Intake for incoming clients (see Intake packet)
Reviewing Policies and Procedures at weekly Client Orientation
Monitoring all RTC residents and maintaining appropriate electronic records
Being the liaison between resident council president and the Clinical Staff
Logging unusual resident movements, comments, behaviors, conflicts, and the like in the Clinical Log Book
Maintaining an attitude of helpfulness, professionalism, and caring for residents
Communicating with the other staff members about client issues or growth opportunities that may be emerging for an individual or for the community as a whole
Communicating with a supervisor or counseling staff immediately in case of a crisis or emergency; consult the schedule for contact with the on-call counselor
Administering urine analysis/breathalyzer with scheduled clients or those suspected to be under the influence
Completing documentation in EHR and filing duties
Attending all Program Assistant meetings and training
Seeing that all house rules are followed and all private/public areas of the facility are kept neat and clean at all times
Carrying out crisis intervention with a client until a clinical team member can relieve you
Work with peers to deliver quality care to clients in RTC
Carry out duties assigned by the PA Supervisor, Program Manager, or Program Director
Qualifications:
Must have HS diploma or equivalent education
a minimum of one (1) year of full-time experience, or its part-time equivalent, working in a program serving persons with mental disabilities.
experience must be in the direct provision of services to clients.
Or a documented specific plan of supervision and in-service training for the employee which will guarantee the ongoing qualification of the employee to perform the job.
Must be comfortable working with both male and female populations’
