Aspire has health centers in five Central Indiana counties serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life.Position SummaryThe Assessment Clinician will perform clinical evaluations, construct treatment plans, and provide brief, targeted behavioral interventions to children, adolescents, adults who present with mental health, behavioral health and/or substance use issues.

This position will be instrumental in promoting the importance of integrated care by orienting those we serve to the importance of the interaction between their physical and mental health.

Education/Experience/RequirementsMaster’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or other mental health field from a college/university accredited by the US Department of Education requiredTwo (2) years’ experience in a clinical setting working with a variety of populationsMust have excellent diagnostic and treatment planning skillsBrief, targeted behavioral intervention and substance use evaluation experience preferredKnowledge of social service systems, community resources, legal systems and child welfare systems highly preferredAbility to work and effectively deal with multiple types of personalities in a variety of situationsMust maintain a valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance and a driving record that meets the guidelines and requirements of the organizationMust have reliable transportation to transport self and/or others and to travel within the communityLicensureMust be license eligible (LSW, LMHCA, LMFTA) by the State of Indiana and actively pursuing licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) by the State of IndianaRecognized as a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor (LCAC) a plusLearn more about us at Aspireindiana.org, and see our Core Values, benefits and current job listings on our Careers page.
