The DPCS is responsible for the management of the agency’s clinical operations, personnel performance, and delivery of quality clinical services.
S/he assures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as accreditation standards and assists the Executive Director (ED) in achieving budget goals.
The DPCS assumes the ED responsibilities in the absence of the ED.QUALIFICATION GUIDELINESEXPERIENCE/TRAINING/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferred, in nursing or other health related fieldRegistered nurse with current licensure to practice nursing in the stateMinimum three years’ experience, within the last five years, in a home health agency with at least one year of which was in a supervisory or administrative roleCurrent CPR certificationPrior use of Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) preferredMust be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured and in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working orderKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:Knowledge of accepted professional standards and practices, Medicare Conditions of Participation, and federal, state, and local regulatory requirementsDemonstrates excellent observation and nursing judgmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsRequires sufficient endurance to perform tasks over long periods of work hoursAbility to travel to all business locationssign on 20K relocation 8k
