Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a Contract Program Auditor (CPA).
The CPA will maintain fiscal control of agencies through reviewing and approving of invoices and supporting documentation tracking agency expenditures.
The CPA will also have to ensure that programs are in alignment with Los Angeles County Department of Public Health’s compliance guidelines.
The candidate will also provide guidance and consult contracted agencies’ administrators on any non-compliance to ensure agencies meet their contractual obligations and provisions.
A successful candidate will have two years of experience in an administrative or staff capacity assisting in the planning, developing, monitoring, evaluating, or auditing of health or social service contracts or programs
– OR -A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college and three years’ experience providing direct health or social program services, one year of which must have been in program planning and evaluation, program development, research and analysis, or other administrative functions;
The position will start immediately upon acceptance and employment clearance and is initially funded through 2/22/2022 with potential renewal.
Pay Rate-
$39.96/hr working 40 hours a week

Job Duties
Prepares summary of reports of contract agency performances.
Provides guidance and consults contracted agencies’ administrators on any non-compliance to ensure agencies meet their contractual obligations and provisions.
Prepares reports of audits and provides a plan for correction on discrepancies and deficiencies in compliance with the program’s contractual terms.
Maintains fiscal control of agencies through reviewing and approving invoices and supporting documentation tracking agency expenditures.
Ensures contract agencies are in compliance with contract provisions, reviews agency monthly reports and invoices to determine the agency’s progress toward completing contracted budgetary goals and objectives.
Reviews and approves agency scope of work and budget.
Assists in contract negotiations, budget development and in preparing documents for approval by the Board of Supervisors.
Assists in processes for new contract solicitations.
Prepares reports of contract agency for grant reporting requirements.
Ensures programs are in alignment to Los Angeles County Department of Public Health’s compliance guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications:
Two years of experience in an administrative or staff capacity assisting in the planning, developing, monitoring, evaluating, or auditing of health or social service contracts or programs
– OR -A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college and three years’ experience providing direct health or social program services, one year of which must have been in program planning and evaluation, program development, research and analysis, or other administrative functions; and
A valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions.
